Our background in farming taught us to have no preconceived ideas and to embrace science and technology. We could see that cross breeding to achieve hybrid vigour was so well accepted and utilised in most plant breeding systems and other commercial animal production systems. The benefits have revolutionised breeding systems. It just made sense to apply this same philosophy to our cattle breeding operation.
